Experimental section of 2018 TISFF unveils lineup

The 35th edition of Tehran International Short Film Festival has shortlisted films to attend the Experimental section of the festival.

A total of fifteen short films have been selected from among the 209 works submitted to this film event.

The selected works are as follows:

'Tradition' by Mohaddeseh Teimouri

'Tower of Silence' by Ali-Reza Rabi-Moghaddam

'Capsule' by Mohammad-Mehdi Rasouli

'Sluggish Life' by Mohsen Mehri

'Translation of Destruction' by Mohammad-Javad Abdollahzadeh

'The Son of Sea' by abbas Jalali-Yekta

'Dedicated to Censorship' by Nima Hassandokht

'Two out of Five' by Narges Niksirat

'Arshia' by Pouya Hashemi

'Creature' by Mehrad Shahi

'Inversion' by Amir-Hossein Riahi

'Sinside' by Ata Mojabi

'Bedside' by Ehsan Shademani

'Helishot' by Iraj Kianian

'Not to Be' by Pouya Razi

Organized by Iranian Youth Cinema Society (IYCS), the festival is held to provide an opportunity for young filmmakers to exchange their experiences.

TISFF is held annually in Iranian capital city of Tehran with National and International Competitions sections.

The latest edition of the festival is slated for November 9-13, 2018.
